Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Operations subject matter experts to implement alarm policy and procedures in line with Relevant Good Practice (RGP).
- Support the technical design, deployment, and optimisation of lab-wide alarm systems to strengthen MAH risk controls.
- Identify faults through advanced alarm system diagnostics and help shape rapid, effective responses.
- Lead the development of alarm system processes, performance monitoring, and long-term optimisation strategies.
- Create and deliver alarm system training courses, materials, and awareness sessions for lab staff.
- Mentor trainee safety and engineering specialists and contribute to ongoing capability building.
- Develop alarm-related policy, guidance, and procedural documentation for long-term implementation.
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with alarm systems such as Trend, Vista, Schneider EcoStruxure, or Sauter.
- Demonstrated success in designing, implementing, and managing alarm systems in a large-scale or complex operational environment.
- Confident working closely with engineering teams to define protocols and resolve system-level challenges.
- Skilled at identifying safety-critical control points and ensuring alarms support operational response.
- Experience developing and delivering training programmes and materials.
- Familiarity with digital alarm platforms and integration across complex lab or operational environments.
