Summary: The QA Test Manager will lead quality assurance and testing operations for a leading public transport technology company, focusing on integrated transport solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary QA team across hardware, software, and service delivery testing
  • Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies and testing frameworks
  • Maintain QA policies, procedures, and standards across all product lines
  • Create and execute comprehensive test strategies for integrated transport solutions
  • Oversee testing of on-board computers, telematics devices, and ticketing hardware
  • Manage software testing for integrated planning, dispatching, and passenger information systems
  • Develop testing frameworks for service delivery processes and customer-facing operations
  • Establish quality metrics and KPIs for service delivery performance
  • Interface directly with key enterprise clients to understand quality requirements
  • Present testing results and quality metrics to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate quality risks across all product and service areas
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 27001:2017 standards

Key Skills:

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Testing
  • Minimum 5+ years of management experience leading QA teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
  • Proven experience in testing complex integrated systems (hardware + software)
  • Deep understanding of QA methodologies, testing frameworks, and best practices, including Jira and Xray
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing approaches
  • Knowledge of hardware testing procedures and protocols
  • Familiarity with software testing tools and methodologies
  • Understanding of system integration testing and end-to-end testing
  • Experience with regulatory compliance and industry standards
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Understanding of public transport systems and operations
  • Knowledge of telematics, ticketing systems, or similar integrated solutions

Position Overview
