Summary: The QA Engineer-CPE Wi-Fi role requires at least 6 years of experience in manual testing and troubleshooting within the domains of CPEs, networking, and wireless services. The position involves test planning, execution, and reporting, as well as interaction with various stakeholders for CPE certification and lab management. The candidate should possess hands-on experience with network test tools and a strong understanding of relevant technologies such as DOCSIS and Wi-Fi 6.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual testing, troubleshooting, and lab setup/support for CPEs, networking, and wireless services.
- Utilize domain knowledge in DOCSIS, Fiber, CPEs, Wi-Fi 5, Device management, LAN/WAN, IPv4/6, and Wi-Fi 6.
- Perform test planning, execution, and reporting for CPE and its services validation.
- Interact with stakeholders including Project Managers, technical contract management teams, and vendors for connectivity CPE certification.
- Manage CPE lab setup and operations for broadband CPEs, wireless gateways, and extenders.
- Implement testing skills to enhance network and device quality efficiencies.
