Summary: The QA Automation Engineer at ME+EM will play a crucial role in the digital transformation project by designing and deploying effective test automation solutions. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and maintain high-quality standards for the customer-facing digital platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing automated test scripts and continuously enhancing the test automation framework. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in QA automation and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for end-to-end testing of our website.
  • Collaborate with Software Engineers to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Work with Product Managers and Product Designers to understand product requirements and design test cases that ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and issues through to resolution.
  • Perform code reviews and provide feedback to ensure the quality and maintainability of test scripts.
  • Execute automated tests and analyse results to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
  • Continuously enhance and optimise the test automation framework.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in QA automation.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Javascript.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Jest and Playwright, or similar.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Vercel and GitHub Actions, or similar.
  • Understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Experience in the fashion or retail industry is a plus.
