Summary: The OT Security Officer is tasked with developing and applying OT Cyber Security requirements, conducting risk assessments, and tracking remediation efforts to support the OPS transfer process. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure understanding and implementation of security controls. The officer will also advise on prioritization and mitigation planning related to OT security. The position requires a strong background in operational technologies and security frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and application of OT Cyber Security requirements.
- Complete OT Cybersecurity Risk Assessments and track remediation efforts.
- Gather evidence related to cybersecurity in support of the OPS transfer process.
- Assist in the development of risk assessments and remediation planning.
- Support SMEs in understanding OT Security requirements.
- Advise on the implementation of appropriate security controls and prioritization.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
- 3+ years of work experience with or adjacent to operational technologies.
- Good understanding of SCADA, PLC, and Automation Networks.
- Strong knowledge of security concepts and frameworks (IEC 62443, ISO 27000) related to OT Systems.
- Understanding of legislation relating to Critical National Infrastructure.
- Experience with implementation of complex solutions in challenging environments.
- Experience working in complex teams and as an end user of solutions in an operational environment.
- Understanding of network and systems security, configuration, and application security.
- Exposure to the Energy Industry, particularly with national critical infrastructure.
