Summary: The Property Finance Manager role in Birmingham involves overseeing financial management for a significant property portfolio. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead budgeting and forecasting for Property, Facilities, and Fleet
  • Monitor capital expenditure against approved budgets
  • Analyse P&L spend including utilities, rent, rates, and maintenance
  • Review and challenge costs to ensure value for money
  • Evaluate lease renewals, exits, and dilapidations
  • Track property disposals and associated costs/revenues
  • Manage onerous lease provisions and tax filings
  • Support strategic property decisions with financial analysis
  • Track KPIs and financial performance metrics
  • Collaborate with Data & Analytics on management information
  • Provide regular updates on action plans and variances
  • Partner with teams on cost analysis and decision support

Our client are a well established company with a significant property portfolio, they are currently seeking an experienced and qualified accountant with strong commercial experience with multiple properties

  • Lead budgeting and forecasting for Property, Facilities, and Fleet
  • Monitor capital expenditure against approved budgets
  • Analyse P&L spend including utilities, rent, rates, and maintenance
  • Review and challenge costs to ensure value for money
  • Evaluate lease renewals, exits, and dilapidations
  • Track property disposals and associated costs/revenues
  • Manage onerous lease provisions and tax filings
  • Support strategic property decisions with financial analysis
