Role: Project Manager (Payment/PCIR)
Duration: 06 months
Location: Glasgow (onsite)

Job description:
Responsibilities
Responsible for overall project management to ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Coordinate both internal resources (both onshore or offshore resources) and stakeholders and vendors for smooth execution of projects
Identify and oversee dependencies among various work streams for projects involving system implementation.
Create a thorough project plan to keep tabs on developments.
Oversee project modifications, including scope, budget, and timeline.
Recognize and promptly and effectively address complicated or challenging risks or concerns.
Oversee the client and important stakeholders' relationships.
Engage in pre-sales activities to build and deliver proposals.

Skills Required
Professional experience in system development projects, ideally from IT consulting, and a degree in computer science or engineering
It is strongly preferred if you have prior expertise managing digital projects, such as implementing new mobile apps or websites. If you are a project manager in an in-house setting, that is not the case.
strong background in solution planning, project management, or delivery
Excellent technical expertise and project management abilities
Strong background and understanding of both more contemporary Agile and iterative approaches as well as conventional waterfall technique
Experience overseeing large-scale, complex system implementation projects.
Outstanding communication and client-facing abilities
Strong communication abilities in English are required.
Project management certification (such as PMP, PSM, or CSM) is preferred.
Working knowledge of project and workstream management tools such as Confluence, Asana, Jira, or other project management tools
Agile Project Management, PMI-PMP certification, and/or LEAN certifications are a big plus but not required.
