Summary: The Project Manager will play a pivotal role within the engineering team, focusing on the successful delivery of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and bespoke customer solutions. This position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure projects meet quality standards and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end project delivery in collaboration with the Engineering team—from concept through to completion.
  • Partner with the Operations team to ensure NPI projects yield reliable, scalable, and high-quality products.
  • Align engineering and operations efforts to meet customer-specific requirements on bespoke solutions, ensuring all deliverables are fit for purpose.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, while coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Proactively track progress, manage dependencies, and escalate issues or risks that may impact project delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to internal procedures and customer quality standards.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation tailored to specific project requirements.
  • Provide regular updates to management, including reporting on progress, cost implications, time constraints, and resourcing needs.

Key Skills:

  • Engineering Background: A degree in engineering and practical experience in complex engineering environments.
  • Project Management Certification: Professional qualification in project management (APM preferred, PRINCE2 acceptable).
  • Technical Tools: Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Planning & Execution: Competency in developing Gantt charts, network diagrams, and work breakdown structures.
