Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of a tax-focused finance workstream
- Build out and refine delivery plans from high-level inputs
- Manage delivery against hard regulatory and compliance deadlines
- Work closely with tax and finance teams to understand implications and dependencies
- Track progress, manage risks and issues, and maintain momentum
- Communicate clearly with senior stakeholders and delivery partners
- Operate within established governance and delivery frameworks
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Finance Project Manager within transformation programmes
- Exposure to tax-related change (process, systems, regulatory or operational)
- Strong planning and delivery capability, with evidence of meeting fixed deadlines
- Confident stakeholder management within complex corporate environments
- Ability to turn ambiguity into structured, executable plans
- Prior work within regulated or compliance-driven environments
- Experience working across multi-workstream finance programmes
- Formal project management qualifications (PRINCE2/APM/Agile)

We are supporting a large, complex organisation undergoing a significant finance transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Project Manager (Finance - Tax focus) to lead delivery within a critical workstream.
This is a senior delivery role, suited to an established Project Manager who can hit the ground running, bring credibility with finance stakeholders, and confidently deliver against fixed, externally driven deadlines.
The role
You will take ownership of the Tax stream within a wider Finance Transformation programme, translating business requirements into actionable delivery plans and driving work through to completion.
Working closely with specialist tax stakeholders, you'll be responsible for shaping and maintaining detailed plans, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring delivery remains on track in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
This is a hands-on role with real accountability - not a reporting-only PM position.
