Project Manager - Finance (Work Package/R2R Exposure)
Contract Length:12 months (possible extension)
Pay rate: £600 per day via umbrella inside IR35
Hybrid working | Windsor office as required

We are recruiting a Project Manager - Finance to support a key work package within the same large-scale finance transformation programme.

This role is ideal for a strong, delivery-focused mid-level Project Manager who enjoys working across multiple, interconnected workstreams and bringing structure to complex environments.

The role

You'll support delivery across a broad finance work package covering areas such as Record-to-Report, Treasury and related finance activities, helping to coordinate planning, manage interdependencies, and keep stakeholders aligned.

Rather than deep subject-matter expertise, this role requires someone who can see the bigger picture, ask the right questions, and calmly bring order to a busy, change-heavy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery across multiple finance-related workstreams
• Build and maintain integrated project plans
• Identify and manage dependencies, overlaps and delivery risks
• Support prioritisation in a resource-constrained environment
• Engage and manage a wide range of finance stakeholders
• Provide clear updates on progress, risks and next steps
• Operate effectively within a structured delivery framework

Key skills & experience

• Demonstrable experience as a Project Manager delivering business or finance change
• Strong organisational, planning and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving requirements
• Ability to operate independently and add structure without over-engineering
• Exposure to finance or finance transformation programmes
• Experience working across multiple workstreams or complex dependencies
• Analytical or business-analysis mindset
