Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a clint in Beachwood, OH that is hiring a long-term contract technical Project Manager. The Project Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of projects within specified timeframes, and budgets. They will coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
* Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
* Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
* Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner
* Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
* Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
* Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary
* Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle
* Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
* Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
* Drive the successful delivery of multiple interrelated projects under a common business goal
* Define timelines, dependencies, and risks, and develop mitigation plans
* Help plan and deliver projects support API, Business Process, and Event Management
* Produce and distribute weekly work stream specific status updates

REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience working with Cloud Platform and Architecture Teams
* Working knowledge of JIRA; Proven working experience as a Project Manager in the information technology sector
* Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
* Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Project Management tools

Preferred:
* PMP/PRINCE II certification is a plus
* Strategic thinker with attention to detail
* Proactive problem-solver with a -get-it-done- mindset
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
