Summary: The role of Project Manager involves overseeing civil infrastructure projects for a regional contractor in the North East of England. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and safety standards. This position requires collaboration with various teams and stakeholders to meet project requirements effectively. The role demands a strong background in civil engineering and project management, along with relevant qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing mainly Civil infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Develop and monitor project plans, schedules, and budgets, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Assisting with producing and reviewing RAMS.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, P6 planners, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.
  • Utilise MS Office and ASITE for tracking project progress, maintaining documentation, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and client expectations.
  • Manage project risks, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement in project processes.

Key Skills:

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Diploma or degree in construction project management.
  • CSCS card.
  • SMSTS.
  • First aid.
  • Proven experience in a project manager's role.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with civils and earthworks.
  • Full UK driving licence.
