Key Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the safety, health, and wellbeing of personnel and environmental compliance on Transmission projects.
• Plan, monitor, and control projects in line with Project Execution Plans to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets.
• Lead commercial responsibilities including contract negotiation and management, ensuring dispute resolution.
• Ensure adherence to Safety Management Systems and SSE Large Capital Projects Governance processes.
• Manage and motivate teams to deliver consistent excellence in project execution.

Key Skills:

• Proven track record in delivering projects in the Transmission, Construction, Energy, or regulated industries.
• People management experience with a strong focus on safety and project management methodologies.
• Engineering or construction qualification/degree or equivalent experience.
• Contractual management experience, preferably with NEC3 contracts.
• Experience in governance, reporting, and managing projects with budgets over £5m.
