Summary: The role of Project Manager within the SSEN Transmission Offshore Delivery Team involves overseeing High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) projects aimed at meeting Scotland's Net-Zero ambitions. Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the safety, health, and wellbeing of personnel and environmental compliance on Transmission projects.
- Plan, monitor, and control projects in line with Project Execution Plans to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets.
- Lead commercial responsibilities including contract negotiation and management, ensuring dispute resolution.
- Ensure adherence to Safety Management Systems and SSE Large Capital Projects Governance processes.
- Manage and motivate teams to deliver consistent excellence in project execution.
Key Skills:
- Proven track record in delivering projects in the Transmission, Construction, Energy, or regulated industries.
- People management experience with a strong focus on safety and project management methodologies.
- Engineering or construction qualification/degree or equivalent experience.
- Contractual management experience, preferably with NEC3 contracts.
- Experience in governance, reporting, and managing projects with budgets over £5m.
