Summary: The role of Project Manager - Pensions involves overseeing complex projects within the pensions sector, focusing on the transformation and management of migrated pension products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders. This position requires proficiency in financial management and the use of project management tools, with a commitment to delivering results. The role is hybrid, requiring presence in Edinburgh three days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the transformation and adaptation of migrated pension products for management on the destination platform.
- Create or update pension processes, calculations, outputs, and interfaces as necessary.
- Oversee the data migration of pension products from legacy systems to the new cloud platform.
- Define and implement the Path to Live based on various technologies (Pega, Fuse, XPression, PowerBI, Sapiens, etc.).
- Implement or update interfaces with other systems or third parties.
- Support business readiness for managing the migrated pensions book.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
- Utilise strong financial management skills, including proficiency in WebCIPs to accurately forecast resources and costs while adhering to the allocated budget.
- Develop project plans using MS Project Plan and ensure timely internal and external reporting.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across locations (UK, Poland, India) and share resources as necessary.
- Employ both Agile methodologies (using Sprints) and waterfall approaches depending on project deliverables.
- Demonstrate a commitment to project success, exhibiting a strong work ethic and flexibility in hours, including a willingness to deliver results beyond standard working hours when required.
