Project Manager - Banking - Northampton

Summary: The role is for an experienced Project Manager to oversee payments and card issuing change projects at Barclays on a 12-month contract basis. The position requires a strong background in project management, particularly in the financial services sector, with a focus on card issuing and payments. The role is hybrid, requiring attendance in Northampton 2-3 times per week. The contract is set to last until the end of 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage payments and card issuing change projects, including platform upgrades and digital issuance.
• Oversee tokenization and scheme compliance initiatives.
• Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Implement project management best practices and frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and operational resilience frameworks.

Key Skills:

• 6-10+ years' project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of card issuing and payments, including BIN management and tokenization.
• Experience in vendor and stakeholder management.
• Familiarity with PCI DSS, PSD2, FCA, and operational resilience frameworks.
• Experience with hybrid delivery methodologies (Agile + stage-gate).

Salary (Rate): £390/day
