Summary: The ITIL Process Owner role is a 3-month contract position, with the potential for extension, focused on optimizing and automating workflows within a client's Dynamics platform. The position requires collaboration with IT, operations, and business teams to enhance service delivery across a government department project. The role is based in Swansea, requiring two days onsite every other week, and is classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the client's Dynamics platform, optimizing, extending, and automating workflows.
- Collaborate with IT, operations, and business teams to ensure effective ticketing, service catalogue, incident/change management, and asset processes.
- Drive efficiency and service excellence across the organization.
Key Skills:
- Formal certification in ITSM/ITIL (or equivalent) or relevant training.
- Experience setting up and configuring enterprise ITSM platforms, ideally Dynamics.
- Good understanding of ITSM concepts and processes: incident, problem, change, request management, asset/CMDB, service catalogue, self-service, SLAs.
- Demonstrable experience in building and maintaining automation and/or workflow orchestration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical workflows.
- Ideally some exposure to integrations, reporting/dashboarding, and data-driven decision making.

This specific role will be working across a GOV department project As the ITSM / ITIL Specialist you will take ownership of our clients Dynamics platform, optimising, extending and automating workflows to drive efficiency and service excellence across the organisation. You'll work closely with IT, operations and business teams to ensure ticketing, service catalogue, incident/change management, self-service and asset and processes meet business needs Required Skills & Experience Formal certification in ITSM/ITIL (or equivalent) or relevant training.
