Summary: The Project Engineer role involves delivering projects that enhance production processes while adhering to safety, cost, and quality standards. The position is contract-based until December 2025 and requires collaboration with stakeholders to define solutions and manage project risks. The successful candidate will also be responsible for project financial management and documentation. This role is based in Broughton, Flintshire, and operates on-site for 35 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the business by carrying out process mapping and requirement definition.
- Ensure analysis, design, development, integration, functional and technical acceptance, and deployment.
- Complete activities in line with agreed budget, schedule, and resources.
- Work with stakeholders to define "AS IS" and "TO BE" solutions.
- Provide project financial management including cost benefit analysis, planning, estimating, budgeting, managing project expenses, and billing.
- Create all required project documentation according to the agreed governance model.
- Identify, report, and manage dependencies and risks related to project delivery.
- Manage all risks associated with delivering the project on time, within cost, and quality parameters.
Key Skills:
- Project Management accreditation (advantageous).
- Experience in a production environment.
- Stakeholder management and customer relationship building.
- Ability to analyze and simplify complex topics for stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Click n Buy, FMEA, SWOT analysis, 5 whys, Fishbone Analysis, and Flowcharts (advantageous).
- Experience in generating technical specifications based on operational requirements.
