Summary: The Project Engineer role at Laing O'Rourke involves working on the Monklands Hospital Replacement Project, which aims to deliver Scotland's first fully digital and net zero carbon hospital. Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize a Digital Engineering model to create Visual Method Statements and Visual Task sheets.
- Implement and ensure compliance with the LOR Management of Temporary works procedure.
- Determine appropriate methods of dimensional control and manage setting out data.
- Produce and ensure implementation of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) addressing specifications and contractual obligations.
- Manage procurement and lead a team of Senior Engineers as required.
- Produce and approve method statements and risk assessments.
- Ensure adherence to project and company quality procedures.
Key Skills:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical qualification (HNC, HND, NVQ level 4).
- Approximately 8 years of experience in a Civil Engineering capacity.
- Experience in structures and construction delivery environments.
- Knowledge of digital engineering processes and methods.
- Ability to manage teams and communicate effectively.
- Eligible to work in the UK with a valid UK visa.
