Summary: The Programme Manager will lead a large-scale software development and implementation project for a global client in the maritime logistics industry. This role involves managing both onshore and offshore teams, acting as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, and ensuring project delivery aligns with industry standards. The position requires extensive experience in programme management within regulated industries and expertise in various project management methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and govern a complex programme, managing onshore and offshore teams.
  • Act as the key interface between clients, internal teams, and third-party partners.
  • Oversee project coordination, ensuring smooth development and seamless delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate risks while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage programme budgets, resources, and supplier contracts efficiently.

Key Skills:

  • 10+ years of programme/project management experience in large-scale software development & implementation.
  • Strong commercial experience in regulated industries (e.g. finance, oil & gas, healthcare).
  • Proven track record managing offshore and multi-location teams.
  • Expertise in agile, waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing, DevOps, and SDLC best practices.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or SAFe Agile certifications (a plus!).
