Product Owner - Contract

Summary: We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to join our IT Services team in London on a contract basis. This role focuses on driving product development and continuous improvement within the End User Experience value stream, leading the full lifecycle of product management. The successful candidate will work closely with Agile delivery squads and stakeholders to ensure the product backlog delivers maximum value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full lifecycle of product management from discovery to delivery and performance analysis.
• Drive product development and continuous improvement within the End User Experience value stream.
• Manage and prioritise the product backlog to maximise business value.
• Collaborate with Agile delivery squads, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Ensure the product roadmap aligns with business goals.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in Agile delivery.
• Skilled in managing and prioritising backlogs to maximise business value.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with data fluency.
• Proficient in writing clear, actionable requirements for delivery teams.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
• Experienced in tools like Jira, Confluence, and product management platforms.
• Comfortable working across multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills.
• Familiarity with End User Experience (EUX) technologies preferred.
• Exposure to lean principles to drive continuous improvement.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent is desirable.
• Passion for coaching and mentoring within product communities.
• Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in product and UX.
