Summary: Our client is seeking a commercially minded Acquiring Product Manager to lead the development and scaling of innovative acquiring solutions within the payment ecosystem. This senior role requires expertise in both traditional acquiring and embedded payment models, with a focus on collaboration across various teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management within payments, particularly with major acquirers like Adyen and Fiserv. The position involves managing the entire product lifecycle, from strategy to launch and ongoing optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for acquiring products, from ideation to go-live and post-launch optimisation.
  • Define and deliver a product roadmap that supports both direct acquiring models and embedded payment models (e.g., ISVs, marketplaces, platforms).
  • Translate customer needs and market insights into high-impact product features, ensuring scalable architecture, regulatory compliance, and commercial viability.
  • Collaborate with commercial and partner teams to develop launch strategies, merchant propositions, and support enablement for new products.
  • Own relationships with key acquiring partners (e.g., Adyen, Fiserv) to support integration, expansion, and service performance.
  • Track product performance through KPIs (e.g., conversion, cost of acceptance, margin) and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
