Key Responsibilities:
- Lead supplier and subcontractor selection processes in line with project timelines and strategic priorities
- Manage end-to-end onboarding, including due diligence, compliance, and integration with project systems
- Negotiate terms, monitor performance, and ensure alignment with budget and delivery milestones
- Collaborate with commercial, engineering, and site teams to maintain procurement visibility and address emerging risks
- Maintain transparent procurement records and reporting to support project governance
Key Skills:
- Proven background in infrastructure procurement, ideally within energy, renewables, or nuclear projects
- Strong understanding of UK construction and engineering supply chains
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and contract management skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-stakes project environment
- Familiarity with NEC contracts is beneficial but not essential

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to support a landmark infrastructure project in the energy sector, based at a prominent UK power station near Selby. This is a critical role on the EGL2 (Eastern Green Link 2) project, a nationally significant development supporting the UK’s transition to a low-carbon future. You’ll be joining a dynamic project delivery team focused on enabling sustainable energy infrastructure through the careful selection and onboarding of suppliers and subcontractors.
