Summary: The Procurement Manager at DHL will lead the development and execution of the procurement strategy, focusing on delivering an end-to-end procurement service for uniforms, packaging, and other categories. This role requires driving transformation and fostering a customer-focused procurement team while ensuring sustainability in product development. The manager will oversee contract negotiations and enhance category strategies to maximize customer value. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, own, and deploy the Procurement Strategy across managed procurement.
  • Lead and develop a commercially astute and customer-focused procurement team.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to maintain an innovative and high-performing supplier base.
  • Manage product development and compliance teams to ensure first-class products meet customer needs.
  • Ensure sustainability is integrated into product development processes.
  • Deliver successful sourcing processes that provide value for money and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in procurement and category management.
  • Experience in a commercially focused role leading and developing a team of procurement specialists.
  • Experience in global sourcing of clothing and/or PPE.
  • MCIPS qualification.
