Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate desktop changes to avoid deployment collisions on high priority incidents.
- Prepare requests for rollout and participate in incident handling concerning desktop changes.
- Engage in projects related to larger desktop changes, such as the rollout of new antivirus software.
- Provide on-site support and commissioning of new laptops and desktops across the shop floor.
- Maintain the asset inventory and update it using the desired tools.
- Utilize ITSM and ticketing processes effectively.
- Support various hardware including laptops, desktops, and printers.
- Deliver excellent customer service and documentation skills.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of service desk/deskside support experience.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (Win10, 11) and Active Directory.
- Experience with ITSM ticketing tools such as ServiceNow.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including MS Project and Visio.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and customer handling skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and be on call as needed.
- ITIL knowledge of V2 or V3 preferred.
