Summary: The Procurement Manager role involves leading contract negotiations for a significant Transportation and Installation (T&I) project in the renewable energy sector, specifically focused on wind energy. The position requires a skilled professional with experience in managing large contracts and commercial models, with a bi-weekly commute to the Blackfriars office in London. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the evaluation and selection of contractors and managing contracts from negotiation to award phase.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead contract negotiations for the T&I project, valued at over £500 million.
- Oversee the evaluation and selection process for contractors.
- Work closely as a core member of the Jacket T&I Work Package Management team, based in central London.
- Manage contracts from negotiation to award phase.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience negotiating large contracts within the Transport and Installation sector.
- Expertise in developing commercial models for non-lump sum contracts.
- Strong experience in contract and claims management for fabrication and installation projects.
- Excellent working knowledge of FIDIC.
