Process Engineer

Summary: Addison Project Plc is looking for a contractor to provide Process Engineering services for a Process Sector upgrade project based in their Thornton-Cleveleys office. The role requires significant experience in process engineering design within various industries, including petrochemical and pharmaceutical, and is not suitable for graduates. Candidates must possess a Chemical degree and demonstrate expertise in HAZOP, DSEAR, and ATEX in a COMAH environment. The position emphasizes autonomy, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering safe and accurate designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce Process Calculations/Data sheets/Equipment specification
• Produce PFD/P&ID/Cause and effect development
• Produce Process reports/philosophy
• Plant troubleshooting
• Equipment/Piping/Valve/inline items and instrument schedules
• Checking/Approval of documents
• Liaising with vendors for equipment
• HAZID/HAZOP/LOPA attendance
• Hazardous Area Classification and DSEAR assessment

Key Skills:

• Chemical degree
• Chartered status (desirable)
• Experience in UK Onshore process engineering design
• Knowledge of HAZOP, DSEAR, and ATEX in a COMAH environment
• Ability to work autonomously
