Summary: Our client, a leader in the food and beverage industry, is looking for a Senior Process Engineer for a 6-month contract. The role focuses on process optimisation and performance improvement in dairy, soft drinks, or other liquid food processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in these areas and will be responsible for leading projects and troubleshooting process issues. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver process improvement and optimisation projects across manufacturing operations
• Troubleshoot process issues and implement robust technical solutions
• Support CAPEX project delivery, including specification and commissioning of new equipment
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in production, quality and maintenance
• Apply lean principles and root cause analysis to drive efficiency gains
• Ensure all process changes comply with hygiene, health and safety, and food safety standards

Key Skills:

• Proven track record as a senior process engineer within the food and beverage sector
• Specific experience in dairy, soft drinks or similar liquid food manufacturing environments
• Strong knowledge of continuous improvement, lean manufacturing and process optimisation
• Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, project-based role
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Available to start on short notice
