Summary: The Power BI Developer role is a contract position focused on delivering end-to-end Power BI solutions for an established organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in data modeling, DAX, and dashboard development, while working in a hybrid model. This position is outside IR35 and offers an initial contract length of 3-6 months. The role requires collaboration with multiple business units to translate stakeholder needs into data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver end-to-end Power BI solutions.
- Develop data models, DAX, and interactive dashboards.
- Work with enterprise reporting environments across multiple locations.
- Extract, import, and transform data from Excel and other spreadsheets.
- Interface with C# and AS/400 (IBM iSeries).
- Understand stakeholder needs and translate them into insights.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in Power BI solutions.
- Strong skills in data modeling and DAX.
- Experience in interactive dashboard development.

Power BI Developer – Contract (Outside IR35) | Hybrid | Competitive Daily Rate
We're currently supporting an established organisation in their search for a Power BI Developer to join on an initial 3–6-month contract . This role is outside IR35 and offers a hybrid working model (3 days on-site, 2 days remote). The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded Power BI specialist with strong experience across both front-end visualisation/reporting and back-end data preparation and will be confident working with complex datasets across multiple business units.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end Power BI solutions
- Strong skills in data modelling , DAX , and interactive dashboard development
- Familiarity with enterprise reporting environments across multiple locations
- Experienced in extracting, importing, and transforming data from Excel and other spreadsheets
- Solid interface experience with both C# and AS/400 (IBM iSeries)
- Ability to understand stakeholder needs and translate them into data-driven insights
Additional Details:
- Contract Length : 3–6 months initially (extensions possible)
