Summary: The role of PMO - Project Management Officer at a leading Aerospace organization in Broughton involves driving best practices in project management within the manufacturing engineering department. The successful candidate will ensure effective planning, execution, and monitoring of projects while promoting Agile methodologies and stakeholder management. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a solid understanding of project management principles. The role may also involve occasional travel for business purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring projects are supported with strong Project Management expertise and appropriate governance practices.
  • Collaborating with manufacturing project leaders on a daily basis.
  • Coaching and raising awareness of best practice project management within the ME teams.
  • Shaping methods and tools according to PM standards for project needs.
  • Supporting efficient communication and stakeholder management.
  • Promoting Agile ways of working and acting as Scrum Master for project activities.
  • Establishing end-to-end project plans and controlling changes against the initial baseline.
  • Tracking performance versus plan throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Driving the Risk & Opportunity Management process and maintaining the associated register.
  • Working with Finance to compare costs incurred and time spent against planning.
  • Preparing and publishing reports as required.
  • Defining and delivering relevant KPIs and dashboards for performance.
  • Contributing to team reviews and supporting project management reviews.
  • Occasional travel for business may be required.
