Summary: The PMO Analyst role focuses on supporting a large-scale infrastructure migration programme within the financial services sector, specifically in Birmingham. Key Responsibilities:
- Support governance, planning, and reporting activities across multiple operational and technology change projects.
- Own, manage, and enhance the change control process, coaching delivery teams on best practices.
- Maintain accurate project/portfolio data including plans, RAIDs, dependencies, risks, benefits, and decision records.
- Produce high-quality MI, dashboards, board packs, and regulatory reports with clear RAG indicators.
- Facilitate governance forums, workshops, health checks, and continuous improvement activities.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, business cases, and intake workflows.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and effective communication across teams and senior stakeholders.
- Drive efficiency and process improvements within the PMO function.
Key Skills:
- Strong PMO and governance experience within financial services (HSBC experience is mandatory).
- Expertise in RAIDs, RAG reporting, portfolio dashboards, and MI packs.
- Strong planning, documentation, and process mapping skills (Visio).
- Experience with PMO/portfolio tools: Clarity, Planview, Clarizen, Monday.com.
- Financial management: budgeting, forecasting, month-end reconciliations.
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and governance stage-gate frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with high accuracy and detail.
