Summary: The role of SAP EWM Technical Consultant requires a highly experienced professional with expertise in SAP S/4HANA Embedded EWM to deliver end-to-end technical solutions. The consultant will translate functional warehouse requirements into scalable technical designs while supporting S/4HANA transformation initiatives. This position demands strong collaboration with functional teams and a focus on performance and compliance of technical solutions. The ideal candidate will possess both technical and functional expertise in EWM processes and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate actively in requirement handover sessions with functional consultants and business stakeholders.
- Analyze business and functional requirements and convert them into detailed technical designs and specifications.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP EWM-specific custom developments end-to-end.
- Perform EWM Monitor enhancements, RF framework customizations, and warehouse process extensions.
- Develop and enhance PPF actions, Adobe Forms, and label printing solutions.
- Build and support interfaces using Web Services, IDocs, and APIs with proper error handling via AIF.
- Work on ABAP on HANA developments, including performance-optimized coding practices.
- Create and consume CDS Views for EWM reporting, analytics, and integration scenarios.
- Support S/4HANA transformation and migration projects, ensuring EWM custom objects are compliant and optimized.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes.
- Collaborate closely with functional teams, basis, and integration teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Ensure technical solutions meet performance, scalability, and SAP best-practice standards.
