Summary: The People Project Consultant role is a 6-month fixed-term contract focused on delivering innovative HR solutions and managing key projects within a leading financial services company. The consultant will collaborate with various teams to drive people transformation and strategic change, ensuring alignment with business objectives. This position requires strong project management skills and the ability to build stakeholder relationships effectively. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with Strategic People Partners to scope and manage key projects, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Leading and designing innovative People Projects, driving change and delivering value-added solutions for the business and customers.
- Managing project controls, tracking progress, identifying risks, and ensuring dependencies are addressed.
- Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, keeping them engaged, and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Delivering change communications and training managers on how to communicate effectively with their teams.
- Providing expert guidance on People policies, processes, and procedures throughout project delivery.
- Analysing HR metrics to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations for improvement.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience supporting and delivering transformation projects, particularly within HR.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience conducting data analysis, recognising trends, and making strategic recommendations based on insights.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage time-sensitive tasks.
- Generalist HR work experience including managing projects.
- Knowledge of HR metrics, policies, and procedures is highly desirable.
