Summary: The role of Paralegal involves supporting the Investigation and Supervision Department at a regulatory body in England and Wales. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Investigation Officers and Managers in investigating solicitors and regulated individuals.
  • Review documents to highlight key information and prepare detailed chronologies.
  • Obtain and analyze publicly available information and correspond with stakeholders.
  • Draft various documents and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Manage, collate, and store evidence efficiently.
  • Deliver on additional tasks and projects to support departmental objectives.

Key Skills:

  • Qualifying Law Degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in conducting open source research and handling legal documentation.
  • Flexible and resilient in high-pressure environments.
  • Highly organized and reliable with self-management skills.
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills with the ability to understand complex information.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in IT packages, such as Excel and Word.
  • Able to analyze information and documents to identify key evidence.

Salary (Rate): £18.51
