Summary: The PAM Test Analyst role involves end-to-end testing of Privileged Access Management systems within a leading financial services organization. The position requires collaboration with engineering and security teams to ensure compliance and quality deliverables. The successful candidate will design and execute test plans while managing defects and contributing to process improvements. This is a contract position based in Sheffield with a hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the end-to-end testing of Privileged Access Management (PAM) systems and tools, ensuring robust security and compliance across the platform.
  • Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases for PAM/IAM systems.
  • Perform API and functional testing using standard industry tools.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, security, and product teams to resolve issues and ensure quality deliverables.
  • Track and manage defects using JIRA or similar tools.
  • Contribute to documentation and process improvement for QA practices within PAM environments.
  • Support the continuous integration and secure deployment of PAM solutions.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in software testing, preferably within PAM or IAM environments.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea (Thycotic), or Microsoft PAM.
  • Solid understanding of IAM principles, privileged account security, and least privilege access.
  • Proficiency in API testing tools (eg Postman, SoapUI) and test management platforms like JIRA.
  • Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
  • Exposure to cloud security testing (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, CISSP, CISM, or CyberArk Defender.
