Summary: As an Oracle HCM Specialist, you will support and maintain the Electronic Staff Records (ESR) system, focusing on functional responsibilities with some technical elements. Your role involves communicating with end users to resolve issues and ensuring adherence to service level agreements. You will work collaboratively with clients and project teams to deliver effective solutions. This position is hybrid, requiring two days on-site in Warwick.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support the Electronic Staff Records (ESR) system.
- Communicate with end users to understand and prioritize issues for resolution.
- Address issues raised by users and provide solutions.
- Respond to users within set service level agreements (SLA's) and operating level agreements (OLA's).
- Establish good working relationships with clients and project teams.
- Utilize problem-solving, investigative, and analytical skills to resolve issues.
- Manage service requests, incidents, and problems using a help desk system.
- Provide politically sensitive answers/solutions as necessary.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
- Communicate effectively with customers, both verbally and in writing.
Key Skills:
- Oracle HCM experience (e.g., Oracle HRMS, Oracle SSHR, Oracle Workflow, OLM, Oracle BI, SQL).
- Problem-solving, investigative, and analytical skills.
- Experience working within an application support team.
- Exposure to querying, manipulating, and configuring SQL.
- Knowledge of a help desk system and managing service requests/incidents/problems.
- Customer communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Ability to work with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
- An understanding of ITIL framework (nice to have).
- Knowledge of UK Payroll Legislation (nice to have).
- Experience of working within the healthcare sector (nice to have).

As an Oracle HCM Specialist, you will be part of a team responsible for the maintenance and support of ESR (Electronic Staff Records). This is a functional role predominantly, with some technical aspects. You will communicate with end users, understand their issues, prioritise issues for resolution and address the issues raised.
What you'll need to succeed
- Oracle HCM experience (eg Oracle HRMS, Oracle SSHR, Oracle Workflow, OLM, Oracle BI, SQL)
