Summary: The Oracle EBS Developer role involves supporting and maintaining core Oracle EBS modules, particularly focusing on financial applications. Key Responsibilities:
- Support and BAU of core Oracle EBS modules including iProc, iExp, PO, AP, GL, AR, and FA.
- Ensure system availability and provide high-level user support and technical enhancements.
- Document and review existing setups for managed service solutions.
- Work with Finance staff on improvement projects.
- Provide out-of-hours support as part of a rota for overnight batch processing.
- Communicate proactively with IT and business staff across various seniority levels.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting core Oracle Financials modules.
- Prior experience with Oracle r12.2.
- Expertise in Oracle technical stack including PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Reports, and Oracle Workflow Builder.
- Strong SQL query writing skills and familiarity with underlying application tables.
- Understanding of P2P, R2R, and O2C business processes and related controls.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Experience working in cross-disciplined teams.

Oracle EBS Developer Candidate Profile
Support and BAU of core Oracle EBS modules, particularly iProc, iExp, PO, AP, GL, AR and FA with Release 12.2.x experience. As Oracle EBS technical developer, ensure system availability and provide high level of User support and technical enhancements when applicable. requires an experienced Oracle Financials technical developer to join an in-house team which supports and maintains Oracle Financials and other back office applications. The role offers hybrid working and currently requires the candidate to be 3 days onsite. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong technical expertise, multiple implementation experience and a deep sense of product ownership. Candidates should be comfortable proactively communicating with both IT and business staff across a range of seniority with a can-do attitude. There will be a requirement to provide out of hours support as part of rota for the overnight batch and also be available for support around some of the holiday periods (Xmas/Easter). The candidate will also be required to document and review the existing set-up and suitability for managed service solution and work with Finance staff on improvement projects.
Essential
- Significant prior experience (5 years+ in total) implementation and supporting core Oracle Financials modules (iproc, iExp, PO, GL, AR, FA, AP)
- Prior experience of implementing / supporting Oracle r12.2
- Expertise with Oracle technical stack– PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Reports, Oracle Workflow Builder tools
- Oracle SQL query writing with familiarity with underlying applications tables and Oracle customisation process.
- Understanding of P2P, R2R and O2C business processes and related controls.
- Very good communication and time management skills.
- Proven track record of adapting to new business and technical challenges.
- Experience of working in cross disciplined teams i.e. liaising between end users and IT teams of different disciplines
Highly Desirable
- Prior experience with moving to OCI or Saas from on-prem.
- Confident in liaising with more senior members of staff where necessary
- Prior experience of working in a Financials Services/investment Banking environment and/or FAH exposure.
