Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and optimize Oracle databases automation for performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation.
- Automate tasks using Ansible.
- Manage YUM repositories and create RPM packages.
- Perform Linux system administration and troubleshooting in line with Oracle databases.
- Integrate APIs to streamline database operations.
- Apply patches, upgrades, and troubleshoot database issues.
- Collaborate with teams and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Document processes and support database-related projects.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as an Oracle DBA with understanding of Oracle deployed in various patterns e.g. RAC, Dataguard and VCS.
- Expertise in shell scripting, Ansible, and Linux administration.
- Experience with YUM repositories and RPM packaging.
- Knowledge of APIs and SQL Server is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Good understanding of Agile Methodology.
- Good understanding of DevOps Practices and tools.
- Certification in Oracle Database Administration preferred.
- Certification in Linux Administration preferred.
