Summary: The Oracle Database Administrator is responsible for the design, build, and daily support of large Oracle databases, each 100TB in size, processing approximately 1 billion SQL statements daily. This role involves collaboration with application and infrastructure teams to maintain service standards and improve operational efficiencies. The position requires 24/7 support, including on-call duties and weekend work, and is offered as a 12-month contract with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and support Oracle databases.
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to ensure service functionality.
- Maintain and improve service level agreements (SLAs) and compliance with policies.
- Conduct proactive analysis to identify automation opportunities and reduce incidents.
- Provide 24/7 support, including on-call and weekend work as needed.
- Participate in achieving organizational objectives for efficiency and quality delivery.
Key Skills:
- Oracle Database Administrator experience.
- Linux proficiency.
- Experience with Oracle RAC and Data Guard.
