Summary: The Integration Developer role is a temporary position for up to 24 months, focused on designing and implementing robust APIs to facilitate data exchange within the RNLI's Data Services and Integration team. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement robust APIs for data exchange between software systems.
- Create API specifications, documentation, and guidelines for effective usage.
- Collaborate with business analysts and IT teams to gather integration requirements.
- Build integrations for real-time data synchronization and process automation.
- Identify and resolve API integration issues promptly.
- Ensure security protocols and authentication mechanisms are in place.
- Manage the lifecycle of APIs including testing, monitoring, and versioning.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as an API Integration Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in API development using REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
- Familiarity with API management tools like Postman and Gravitee.
- Strong understanding of data mapping, transformation, and synchronization techniques.
