Integration Developer - Temporary up to 24 months

Summary: The Integration Developer role is a temporary position for up to 24 months, focused on designing and implementing robust APIs to facilitate data exchange within the RNLI's Data Services and Integration team. The position requires collaboration with business analysts and IT teams to gather requirements and ensure effective API integration solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement robust APIs for data exchange between software systems.
• Create API specifications, documentation, and guidelines for effective usage.
• Collaborate with business analysts and IT teams to gather integration requirements.
• Build integrations for real-time data synchronization and process automation.
• Identify and resolve API integration issues promptly.
• Ensure security protocols and authentication mechanisms are in place.
• Manage the lifecycle of APIs including testing, monitoring, and versioning.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience as an API Integration Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in API development using REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
• Familiarity with API management tools like Postman and Gravitee.
• Strong understanding of data mapping, transformation, and synchronization techniques.
