Network Operations Automation Engineer
Hybrid (3 days a week required in London Office)
Inside ir35/12 months
Solid industry experience in networking technology, including many years specializing in automation.
Responsible to analyze and optimize network operational processes through automation in automation platforms, including but not limited to Ansible, Chef, or Puppet (Ansible preferred)
Implement Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) strategies.
Strong programming skills desirable, including Python, Java, Shell Scripting, Perl and TCL (Python preferred).
Experience with Cisco ACI and APIC controllers and Data Center provisioning strongly preferred.
Experience in NMS technologies such as (eg, SNMP, Syslog, Netflow)
In-depth knowledge of network technologies common to large, global enterprises, load balancers, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, proxies, Wi-Fi AP's and controllers, etc.
Strong communication skills, fluent in English (written/verbal) and attention to detail
Proficiency in Linux and SQL, Oracle, Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent team worker, able to work in virtual global teams in a Matrix organization"
