Summary: The Network Engineer role involves implementing and supporting security solutions to meet corporate requirements, configuring and troubleshooting network firewalls, and collaborating with various teams to deliver network security services. The position also focuses on managing firewall systems, developing automation opportunities, and maintaining security systems through regular updates and maintenance tasks. Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and support security solutions that meet corporate security requirements.
  • Configure and troubleshoot network firewalls to ensure optimal network security.
  • Work closely with Security team partners, Business Relationship Managers, Field IT leadership, and managed service suppliers.
  • Drive and develop automation opportunities for the management of security infrastructure.
  • Manage and maintain firewall systems for optimal performance and security.
  • Analyze and provide creative solutions for operational security challenges.
  • Apply system patches and perform periodic maintenance on security systems.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures for security solution implementations.
  • Regularly communicate progress to company leadership and program stakeholders.
  • Attend weekly teleconferences, meetings, and participate in working groups.
  • Adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution.
  • Independently resolve tickets and meet agreed SLA for ticket volume and time.
  • Provide support for on-call escalations and L3 level support.
  • Engage in incident and problem management.
  • Contribute to knowledge base updates, training freshers, coaching analysts, and participating in hiring drives.

Work closely with Security team partners/Business Relationship Managers, Field IT leadership and managed service suppliers to ensure successful identification and timely delivery of network security services to the business.

Drive and develop automation opportunities for the management of security infrastructure

Manage and maintain our firewall systems to ensure optimal performance and security.

Analyze and proactively come up with creative solutions for operational needs that present security challenges.

Manage and maintain security systems by applying system patches and other periodic maintenance tasks.

Create and maintain standard operating procedures and guides for new and/or existing security solution implementations.

Regularly communicate progress to company leadership and program stakeholders

Attend weekly teleconferences, meetings, and participates in working groups, as related to constant changing security environment.

Zero Trust Network Policy (Micro Firewall & Network Security rule design and administration across multiple platforms

(1.) To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies (2.) To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions / Reopen Cases (3.) To participate or contribute on EN business in creation of proposals to drive Service improvement plans. (4.) To independently resolve tickets & esnure that the agreed SLA of ticket volume and time are met for the team. (5.) To provide support for on call escalations /L3 level support and doing incident & problem management (6.)
