Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute Fortinet software upgrades and hardware migrations.
- Work closely with stakeholders to minimise service disruption during upgrades and migrations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and changes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Fortinet-related issues during and post-upgrade/migration.
- Collaborate with other network and security teams to ensure alignment with broader infrastructure initiatives.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience with Fortinet hardware and software upgrades.
- Hands-on experience with FortiManager.
- Solid understanding of network infrastructure, including routing and switching.
- Experience with out-of-hours maintenance tasks and planning.
- Fortinet certifications (NSE 4 or higher) desirable.
- Cisco ACI experience.
- F5 load balancer experience.
- Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, and Multicast.
- Experience in large-scale network migrations or upgrades.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
