Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and administer firewalls, focusing on Palo Alto and Checkpoint.
- Manage Layer 2 and Layer 3 network infrastructure in preparation for LAN refreshes.
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, and firewalls using vendor-specific tools and CLI.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve network issues related to hardware, software, or misconfiguration.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with strong expertise in firewalls, routing and switching, and data center technologies. The ideal candidate will be involved in both day-to-day operations and upcoming infrastructure projects, including a major LAN refresh.
Key Responsibilities:
- Firewall Management: Deploy, configure, and administer firewalls, with a strong emphasis on Palo Alto and Checkpoint (comprising approximately 65% of daily responsibilities). Experience with Juniper SRX is also beneficial.
- Routing & Switching: Manage Layer 2 and Layer 3 network infrastructure (approximately 35% of the role), particularly in preparation for upcoming LAN refreshes in data centers.
- Network Device Configuration: Configure and maintain routers, switches, and firewalls using vendor-specific tools and CLI.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Identify, diagnose, and resolve network issues related to hardware, software, or misconfiguration. Provide basic support to end-users for connectivity-related concerns.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations and topologies for future reference and troubleshooting.
- Security & Compliance: Apply core network security principles, including firewalls, VPNs, and data protection best practices, to ensure a secure and compliant environment.
