Summary: The Network Architect role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing hybrid network infrastructures in cloud and on-premise environments, specifically within the healthcare sector. This position offers the opportunity to work on enterprise-scale projects while utilizing advanced networking technologies. Key Responsibilities:
- Enterprise Networking: Cisco routing & switching (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, STP, HSRP, VRRP), VLANs, trunking, EtherChannel, QoS, multicast.
- Cloud Networking: AWS/Azure VPC/VNet design, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, cloud load balancers, firewalls.
- Data Center & ACI: Cisco ACI fabric design, APIC management, Nexus 9K, VXLAN/EVPN, spine–leaf architecture.
- SD-WAN: Cisco Viptela/Meraki design and deployment for hybrid connectivity.
- Load Balancing: NetScaler ADC (GSLB, SSL offloading, L7 policies, content switching).
- Network Security: ACLs, segmentation, microsegmentation, firewall policies, Zero Trust principles.
- Automation & IaC: Python, Ansible, Terraform, Git-based CI/CD pipelines for provisioning and compliance.
- Monitoring & Observability: Dynatrace, Grafana, SolarWinds, Cisco DNA Center, ThousandEyes, AppDynamics.
- Architecture & Design: HLD/LLD creation, modernization roadmaps, cloud-integrated network patterns.
- Lifecycle & Operations: Hardware/firmware upgrades, migrations, refresh projects, performance optimization.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience with hybrid cloud and on-premise networking.
- Strong expertise in Cisco routing, switching, ACI, SD-WAN, and cloud network architectures.
- Hands-on experience with network automation tools and IaC pipelines.
- Excellent architecture and design skills for enterprise environments.
