Summary: The Network Architect role is a 6-month contract position within a large consultancy, requiring a blend of on-site and remote work in Bracknell. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage network architecture focusing on SDN and cloud-native environments.
- Implement and oversee security measures using Check Point and Palo Alto Networks Firewalls.
- Design and manage Citrix NetScaler (ADC) solutions for load balancing.
- Ensure compliance with cloud provider network architectures and security best practices.

Key Skills:
- Strong experience in network engineering and architecture.
- Deep hands-on experience with Cisco ACI and VMware NSX-T.

My client, a large consultancy, is in need of a Network Architect for a 6 month contract opportunity inside IR35 based in Bracknell offering 2 days per week remote but requiring 3 days per week on-site.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in network engineering and architecture roles, with decent experience focusing on SDN and cloud-native environments
SDN Expertise: Deep hands-on experience with Cisco ACI and VMware NSX-T
Security Mastery: Extensive experience with Check Point and Palo Alto Networks Firewalls (both physical appliances and virtual editions)
Load Balancing: Proven experience in designing and managing Citrix NetScaler (ADC) solutions
Cloud Networking: Strong understanding of cloud provider network architectures and security best practices
Certifications (Preferred): Relevant certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, VCDX-NV, PCNSE, or CCSM are highly desirable
Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a proven track record of leading large-scale network projects.
