Summary: We are seeking a creative and versatile 3D Generalist to join our Creative Development Team, responsible for transforming ideas into immersive experiences through concept design and high-quality 3D asset creation. The role involves collaboration with the Visualization Team and XR/Web Experience Team to develop photorealistic renders and interactive assets. Candidates should have a solid 3D design portfolio and experience in a related production environment. A background in Media Arts and Animation or related fields is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create 3D concepts for environments, characters, and props.
  • Develop 2D concept art for ideation and visualization.
  • Accurately translate design concepts into 3D models and renderings.
  • Build photorealistic models, textures, materials, lighting, and rendering for both real-time and pre-rendered workflows.
  • Implement clean and organized topology for all models.
  • Convert models into various real-time formats (.OBJ, FBX, gLB, gLTF, etc.).
  • Integrate, assemble, and manage scene assets using Maya/Max and Unity.
  • Create interactive assets compatible with Unity coding or Unreal Engine Blueprint systems.
  • Animate props and artifacts for web and Game Engines.
  • Assist in developing new standards for modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering.
  • Participate in template and asset development for 3D content.
  • Ensure production deadlines and quality control are achieved.
  • Work directly with the Visualization Team to deliver photo-real and real-time resolutions.
  • Support post-production editing and manage render layers in After Effects or Nuke.
  • Proactively contribute creative ideas to improve processes and deliverables.

Key Skills:

  • Solid 3D design portfolio.
  • Proficiency in Maya, 3ds Max, Unity, and Substance Painter.
