Summary: The Murex Business Analyst role requires a seasoned professional with over 8 years of relevant experience, particularly in Murex implementation and treasury products. The position involves leading project teams using agile methodologies, managing project scopes, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. The role is based in Washington DC and is focused on delivering comprehensive solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage project teams in the successful execution of projects using agile methodologies.
- Act as a scrum master, facilitating agile ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Implement change management processes to address any scope changes or project deviations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and agile best practices within the project team.
- Report project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure knowledge of basic Treasury Products and various Treasury Aspects.
- Utilize data structures and SQL queries for project needs.
- Manage inward and outward interfaces and integration with Murex Treasury.
- Adapt to changing project requirements and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Utilize strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide project teams.
- Address project challenges and ensure project objectives are met.
Key Skills:
- 8+ years of industry/relevant experience.
- Experience with Murex implementation as a Business Analyst.
- Knowledge of basic Treasury Products like FX, Forwards, Options, etc.
- Understanding of Treasury Aspects such as Static Data, Rates and Curves Data, and Liquidity Management.
- Experience with data structures and SQL queries.
- Familiarity with Agile Delivery and various Agile roles.
- Proficient in agile methodologies and experienced as a scrum master.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing requirements.
- Solid understanding of project management and change management principles.
