Summary: The Python Engineer role is a remote position focused on full-stack development, requiring expertise in Python 3 and front-end technologies. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications, designing data pipelines, and ensuring integration between front-end and back-end systems. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and adherence to best practices in code quality and security are essential. The position is with T-Mobile and is expected to last for over six months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Python 3.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration.
- Work with SQL databases and time-series databases such as Prometheus, Influx DB, or OpenSearch.
- Build and optimize data pipelines for efficient data processing.
- Develop and maintain front-end interfaces using UI frameworks, PHP, HTML5, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, and JSON.
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and security best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues effectively.
Key Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Python 3 and relevant libraries.
- Proficiency in front-end development using UI frameworks.
- Strong understanding of PHP, HTML5, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, and JSON.
- Experience with SQL databases and RESTful API development.
- Knowledge of time-series databases such as Prometheus, Influx DB, or OpenSearch.
- Understanding of data pipeline development and optimization.
- Experience with Ansible and YAML Playbooks (good-to-have).
- Full stack development expertise (good-to-have).
- Telecom network domain knowledge (good-to-have).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in full stack development with Python.
