Summary: RED is looking for a MOD Security Cleared Network Engineer to deliver network infrastructure projects on a client site in Cumbria. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver network infrastructure projects on time and to a high standard.
- Perform hands-on installation, configuration, refresh, testing, and support of enterprise network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with SI, client Project Managers, SMEs, Architects, and support teams.
- Manage LAN, WAN, wireless, voice, firewall, routing, switching, and associated technologies.
Key Skills:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Network Engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience configuring network systems.
- Good understanding of switching, routing, firewalling, load balancing, and voice infrastructure.
- Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting LAN, WAN, and voice network infrastructure.
- Knowledge of network security, VPNs, converged networks, and broadband technologies.
- Understanding of racking, cabling, containment systems, and infrastructure standards.
- Cisco CCNA-level knowledge or equivalent vendor accreditation.

Clearance and Eligibility Requirements
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Hold active MOD SC clearance
- SC clearance must have been actively used within the last 12 months
- SC clearance must have at least 3 months remaining to allow time for interview, offer, and clearance transfer
- Must be a sole UK national
- Must meet the UK residency/travel requirement, with no more than 28 days outside the UK within the last 5 years
