Summary: We are looking for expert Microsoft 365 Migration Engineers to lead large-scale enterprise migrations within the investment banking sector. The role involves planning, executing, and troubleshooting migrations while ensuring compliance and data integrity. Candidates should have extensive experience with Microsoft 365 services and a strong background in financial services. The position is contract-based for six months, with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end Microsoft 365 migration projects, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and related workloads.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to design and deliver migration strategies.
- Perform environment assessments, readiness checks, and tenant-to-tenant migrations.
- Ensure data integrity, compliance, and security standards during migrations.
- Provide technical leadership, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for migration-related challenges.
- Conduct post-migration validation, reporting, and user adoption support.
- Document technical processes, migration plans, and lessons learned.
- Mentor junior engineers and act as SME for Microsoft 365 adoption.
Key Skills:
- 12+ years of IT experience with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
- Proven expertise in Microsoft 365 migrations (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams).
- Strong experience with Exchange Server (2013/2016/2019) and Hybrid Exchange environments.
- Hands-on knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
- Experience with identity management & directory synchronization (Azure AD Connect, ADFS).
- Familiarity with compliance, data governance, and security within Microsoft 365.
- Background in large-scale enterprise or investment banking environments is highly desirable.
